Are You Eating These 3
Pound Packing Foods
That Big Companies Say Are Good For You?
(They're NOT What You Think)
.

Dear friend,
If your goal is to get faster results, burn more fat and live a healthier lifestyle, I’m sure you already know how
critical
smart food choices are.
All the top personal trainers and body transformation experts say it:
Fat loss is at least 80% nutrition.

Isn’t that a good reason to
learn the truth
about common foods TODAY and
supercharge your results?
These 3 So-Called “Healthy Foods” Are Making You Fatter
Every Day
Are these 3 pound packing foods still in your kitchen? Here’s what the Food Industry forgot to tell you about them…
Culprit #1:
Margarine & Other Buttery Spreads
Unless you’ve been hiding in a cave for the last few years, you know that
trans fats are to be avoided at all costs.
Hundreds of studies prove that they make your body store more fat, and that consuming just a little bit
increases your risk of heart disease.
Well, you might be interested to know that research at the University of Florida at Gainesville found that common
non-hydrogenated
vegetable oils (corn, soy, canola, sunflower, safflower) contain up to
4.6% trans fat that’s not on the label.
How is this scam even possible?
Let’s take a look at the manufacturing process of refined vegetable oil,  the #1 ingredient in margarine:
During this 5-step processing, the delicate omega-3 fats and other delicate nutrients are not only destroyed;
some of them are turned into dangerous trans fats.
Don’t be fooled: the “trans fat free” label you read on every margarine packaging out there is
wrong.
The nutritional value is based off
what the product is supposed to contain, not what it really contains.
Culprit #2:
Orange Juice & Other
100% Pure
Fruit Juices
There’s nothing better than to start your day with a big glass of 100% pure orange juice,
right

Not so fast.
Unlike what clever advertising led you to believe, even 100% pure fruit juice isn’t anything like a whole fruit:
it’s way more fattening.
The truth is: 1 cup of orange juice contains
as much sugar as 5 whole oranges.
Wait, it gets worse. Fruit juice is very high in fructose,
the most unhealthy kind of sugar there is.

On top of that, fruit juice lacks the fiber and different micronutrients contained in whole fruits, which makes it
spike your blood sugar and promote fat gain basically like soda.
Culprit #3:
Diet Soda & Artificial Sweeteners
The name says it:
Diet.
No calories, no problems!
At least that’s what they told you.
Have diet soda manufacturers forgot to tell you that numerous studies prove that even if it contains no calories, diet soda is actually
more fattening than regular sugar-laden soda?
Have they forgot to tell you that aspartame and other artificial sweeteners have been
linked to cancer and account for more than 75% of adverse food reactions
reported to the FDA?
A can of diet soda won’t do you much harm. The problem is:
more than 6,000 food products in the US contain artificial sweeteners
, ranging from yogurt to cereal and condiments.
I know most of these recommendations go
against
 what you’ve heard before.
Is it the first time in history that “common-sense dietary” advice is wrong?
You tell me once you read
this headline from a popular ad that was used just a few decades ago:
“Babies Should Drink MORE Soda”
Believe it or not, this used to be accepted as a fact. Other outrageous claims from the early 20th century include:
Cigarettes helps you
get rid
of asthma
Listerine makes great
deodorant
(an actual ad from the 1930s… what the %$?/)
While all these claims may sound like a
hilarious joke
these days, they once were considered “common knowledge”, because people thought these ads were the
absolute truth
.
Are you trusting dietary advice that will be considered crazy or even criminal in a couple of years from now?
I don’t want to be rude, but I think you do.
It’s not your fault. Think about it for a second:
Where Did You Learn What Foods Are Healthy, And What Foods Are
Not
?
Need a hint? Everything you know about nutrition is the accumulation of YEARS of marketing from the food industry.
The reality is this: the industry that makes money selling you stuff is the one making the rules.
In plain English: what you
think
is healthy is the result of
ingenious marketing
and market positioning by the Food Industry, instead of being based on objective, science-based research.
Here’s Why You Never Heard About That Stuff Before…
To help us make smart food choices, the Government gives us “easy-to-understand” dietary advice in the form of the famous food pyramid.
In doubt, you just have to refer to the pyramid to be sure you’re eating the healthiest thing…
right?
Wrong.
Here’s why following the “common sense advice” you hear from health authorities and the media can be
dangerous.
Reason #1

Recommendations may be based on old science
Most of the “official dietary advice” is based on
old studies
from the 60s and 70s.
While these studies were legitimate at that time, most of them are now
obsolete
.
The problem is: even if we find these studies are no longer applicable, it will probably take
decades
for the Government to change its official recommendations (I’ll explain more on this below).
Reason #2 — The Food Industry has a lot of influence and power
The Food Industry makes
hundreds of billions
every year.
If researchers discover that one of their best-selling products isn’t as healthy as we all thought it was, expect the Industry to put pressure on the health authorities and
squeeze
every penny they can out of their product… before it’s
labeled accordingly or banned.
Like every other business out there, the Food Industry is
reluctant to change
, especially if they have to spend an extra buck in order to change their manufacturing processes.
A Little History Lesson, Or How We All Got Screwed Up By The Food Industry
We all know trans fats are bad for us, right?
Hundreds of studies show that it increases risk of heart disease, strokes, and eventually lead to DEATH.
It turns out
 it wasn’t always this way.
You may not know this, but
scientists actually started to express serious concerns on the safety of trans fats in the 1950s.
Read that
again

And again.
Because of the huge pressure from the Food Industry and the overall slowness of the system… It took
more than 50 years
for the Government to label trans fats, and make the Industry move towards a permanent ban.
The Madness Is Still Going Strong These Days
50 years
before being informed that something you eat everyday will probably kill you one day
is a looong time.
Fortunately, since trans fats are starting to disappear, the Food Industry has changed and now really cares about your health…
NOT!
Remember when I explained to you why aspartame is really not the “diet” food it brags to be?
Here’s on thing I forgot to tell you: researchers have been expressing
big concerns concerning it’s safety for over 30 year…
Remember the trans fat case, where the Government and Industry took a whopping 50 years before informing the public that a common food
was killing more people than cigarettes?
The controversy around aspartame these days is no different.
In fact, dozens of foods you’ve been taught to consider healthy are really NOT.
The BIG Dilemma Is This:
Do you want to
take control
of your health TODAY , or do you prefer
waiting 50 years
to finally learn that the foods you thought were healthy for you are actually
screwing up your health and making your fat stick to your body like freakin’ crazy glue
?
What If A Simple Handbook Showed You EXACTLY What To Eat And What To Ditch?
I’ll be honest. If you spend
thousands of hours
studying every nutrition book and article out there, hired a nutritionist and spent a couple hundreds bucks in the process… you could probably end up making the same healthy choices than if you read
Healthy or Not
.
Now, I know you want to get results
fast
, and that money may be limited these days. I also want you to learn the
truth
about foods around you, to take control of your health, and to burn more fat and build more muscle starting today.

After watching a ton of doc’s I am more convinced to just stay away from beef, dairy, chicken, and farmed fish.
My diet has leaned more towards a plant based diet with a once a month dose of fresh lake pickerel, salmon or lake trout and always purchased right off the dock at a fish market. Also I have probably wasted 1000.00 dollars or so on nutritionists and naturopaths.
My question to you is if we can’t trust the industrial food business than how do we know that organic fruits and veg are safe. If you look at the stickers on an organic apple or a bunch of organic kale, they’re typically shipped from the same countries as the non organic produce. How do we know that they’re practices are what they should be. I don’t freak out about this stuff and just stick to all root veg to be organic or locally grown. But unfortunately up here in Northern Ontario my shopping options are limited. Would like to hear your thoughts, and I’m glad to hear Mikey Finisher is promoting nutrition experts.

Hey JR,
Thanks for your question.
Honestly, I am in no position to tell you what organic certifications are the best or which can really be trusted. A lot of people in the organic community are trying to help people be healthier and care about growing food the right way, and some are in it for the money.
Local is always the best: if you know who makes your food grow and how they do it, you don’t have any Sherlock Holmes style research to do to discover if it’s healthy or not
Finally, as far as beef and chicken go, I would NOT suggest ditching them altogether. I respect your choice of choosing a plant-based diet, but I’m convinced that meat is essential to OPTIMAL human health and performance. That being said, the beef I would recommend is the grass-fed – organic if possible – kind you can buy from small locals farms. The healthiest chicken is attained when producers allow the hen to roam around and eat insects like they are meant to do (instead of feeding them with grains).
I hope this helps!

As a vegan of 21 years, I totally disagree with your statement that we need to eat meat for optimal health. Indeed, I believe we don’t need any animal products at all. I take no supplements, and my doctor confirms that I have perfectly adequate vitamin and mineral levels. We don’t need to kill or otherwise exploit animals in order to live a healthy life.

Wow, I was impressed.
I like the simple format.
Why this, not that?
Eat this, not that.
I have read a lot where people just say “don’t eat this or that”.
Before you know it, you pretty much can’t eat anything.
It was nice to see the substitutes, and the “good”, “better”, “best”.
Thanks.
